We are looking for someone who can bring creativity, enthusiasm, expertise and professional knowledge to their leadership in English.
The Director of English will be responsible for leading the English department by raising attainment and standards across Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will strategically plan for the development of and demonstrate the impact and progression of pupils. The aim of the role will be implementing and managing an appropriate assessment strategy. Maintaining an up-to-date curriculum which facilitates the progress of all learners, ensuring responsive interventions and assisting the Senior Leadership Team in all aspects of the management of the department.
